AMA Coaching School provides certified professional training for executive and life coaches and people wanting coaching skills at work. Learning is both flexible and practical and qualifications are externally endorsed and recognized by the Coaching Foundation and/or the Open College Network.
The School’s coaching philosophy is based upon coaching being predicated upon a facilitation approach firstly. That means helping people to do their own learning and to find their own enthusiasm and commitments rather than using a stick. Where people own their progress they get sustainable learning. A wide range of blended learning themes are offered so learners can choose their activity at any time and a broad range of support mechanisms (webinars, video tutorials, online learning group etc) are in place.
The School philosophy also includes having experience and expertise at the highest levels. All School staff bring individual experience over years in coaching: in either life-, executive- or both areas of coaching practice. All are qualified. Many are markers for various national boards and others are qualified coach-supervisors too.
AMA Coaching School was set up by Angus McLeod, author of several books on coaching and leadership.
